Underdressed recommends that you hand wash all your lingerie using a mild detergent. This is because of the delicate fabrics used to make your lingerie and your lingerie will stay in good condition for longer.

Wash all the lingerie pieces in luke warm water except bras and other highly elasticated lingerie pieces that need to be washed in cooler water as this helps to maintain the elasticity of the fabric. Garments should be soaked in soapy water for a few minutes, gently rub the fabric between your two fingers paying particular attention to soiled areas. Rinse well and gently squeeze the water out (do not wring), dry your lingerie away from sunlight or heat.
